Yin Yoga is ideal for relaxation, mindfulness, and gently improving flexibility. It’s also a great way to complement more active forms of exercise.

What to wear and what yoga props to bring for the session?

Wear comfortable clothing, and create a quiet space where you can fully relax during the session. You’ll need a yoga mat and, if possible, props such as cushions or bolsters for added support. If you haven’t got those a towel, blanket or cushions can be used too.

What can I expect in a Yin Yoga session?

Each session consists of long-held poses that are done on the floor, designed to target deep connective tissue. The focus is on relaxation and stillness, with guidance to help you connect with your body and breath. The long-held poses are accessible and adaptable, making it welcoming to all levels of experience.
